Meet Allied One Moving
Malcolm Fairweather bought his first box truck in 2013 and started running loads between Sunrise and Plantation on his own, one referral at a time. A dozen-plus years later, the trucks still belong to the company, the crew still clocks in as employees, and Malcolm still writes most of the in-home estimates himself — not a script read off a call-center screen somewhere out of state.
We cover Broward County moves from Weston to Hollywood, and our own long-distance lanes reach up to Orlando, Atlanta and beyond, with the same crew that wrapped your furniture riding the truck the whole way and setting it down themselves at the other end.

Four steps, same crew the whole way — here is what actually happens once you call us about a Plantation move.
Priya Walks The Job With You
A quick call or a short in-home visit is enough for her to note the room count, any access issues, and the date you have in mind.
You Get One Number, In Writing
By the time you hang up, you'll know the crew size, the truck size, and what materials are included — and none of it changes on move day just because the job runs a little different than expected.
Move Day Starts With Padding, Not Boxes
Doorframes and stair corners get wrapped first, then furniture — the crew carries pieces to the truck by hand rather than sliding them across a dolly ramp and hoping for the best.
You Point, They Place It
Furniture goes where you tell the crew to put it, boxes land in the labeled room, and the wrapping paper and pads leave with the truck instead of piling up in your garage.
Why Plantation Calls Us Back
Malcolm Still Answers The Phone
Thirteen years in, the guy whose name is on the trucks still writes a good share of the estimates. Dwayne and Rafael have each run Broward County crews for the better part of a decade — nobody on the job is a name you're meeting for the first time on move day.
Awkward Pieces Don't Slow Us Down
A piano needs a board, straps, and someone who has muscled one down a staircase before — and that's exactly what shows up. Gun safes, sectionals, anything that won't clear a doorway sideways gets the same planning: right equipment, right crew, no last-minute scramble.
Headed Out Of FL?
Same crew, same truck, no handoff — whoever loads your things in Plantation also drives the route and carries them into the new place, whether that is a short run to Orlando or the long haul up to New York.

All four major cards go through without a hitch, plenty of folks still write Keisha a check on move-out day, and cash works too — whichever is easiest on your end is easiest on ours.
Call Us NowReviews From Our Clients
“Rafael's crew got our whole Sunrise apartment packed and moved to Plantation in one morning. They wrapped every mirror and picture frame like it was made of glass.”
“Booked Allied One for our Weston house move and Malcolm came out himself to walk the estimate. The crew showed up right on time and didn't leave a mark on the walls.”
“Moved our small office out of Lauderhill over a weekend. Careful, professional crew and right on schedule — only ding is the invoice took an extra day to land in our inbox.”
Questions We Get Most
Allied One Moving answers these on nearly every call from Plantation, FL.
Where does the flat-rate number actually come from?
Whoever's walking your job — Malcolm most weeks, sometimes another estimator — goes room by room before quoting anything. Once you sign, that figure holds regardless of how the day actually plays out.
Is Greater Fort Lauderdale fully within your service area?
The crew is out in Plantation and the neighboring suburbs on a normal week. Not sure your street's covered? A quick call to the office settles it.
Who's actually carrying my furniture?
Our own people, full stop — everyone on the truck is on the company payroll and background-checked before their first day, not picked up off a gig app for the week.
Is a deposit required to hold my date?
No. A signed flat-rate quote holds your spot on the calendar — you settle up once the job's actually done.
What factors into the price I'm quoted?
Square footage, what's actually coming with you, how tricky access is on either end, and how far the truck's driving. All of that gets locked into one number up front — nothing tacked on after the crew arrives.
If I'm moving out of state, does the crew change?
No — whoever loads your Plantation home rides along and unloads it at the other end too, whether that's a short hop or clear across FL's border.
